Discovery Museum Café

Usually, cafés are places that filled with romantic astrosphere. Imaging that you are drinking a cup of cappuccino slowly under the yellow lights of café, what a wonderful thing! But if this scene happened at Discovery Museum Café, it looks like a little bit of wired.

The café, has no name. Just a word – café – writes on the top of the door. Very simply, just like its interior style. Actually, everything in this café is simple, cappuccino as well.

In my point of view, Cappuccino has become a kind of life attitude. In UK, cappuccino is popular at cafés and terraces during the afternoon and in restaurants after dinner. But in Italy the Cappuccino is a typical breakfast beverage and is served in the morning only. The name "Cappuccino" comes from the Italian word for "Cap" Cappuccino and means "small Cap". The Cappuccino is prepared with one strong Espresso topped with half Hot Milk and half Milk Foam.

In Discovery Museum Café, Cappuccino is apparently made by cappuccino maker. No more beautiful patterns, no more excessive details. Compare to others types of coffee, Cappuccino just have more foam.

Discovery Museum’s visitors normally are young children. So the café might be focus on family consumers. It is understandable that why the café is looks like so simple. People, who go to there, would not spend too much time at there, just want to have a rest. Therefore, this café is just like a supply station of food and drink.

It also supplies snacks, sandwiches and hot soup. The price is cheap, suitable for most of family. Deserve to be mentioned that all of the sandwiches at this café are whole wheat, which is very healthy to chindren, as well as their parents.
