Entering the Time Square Café, you can’t tell it’s a café seriously, more like a playroom for kids. Full of candies and toys, it is a paradise for kids to play. Parents can have a sip of coffee while kids are indulged in the amazing world with toy monkeys, rabbits snakes, pandas, bears, owls, etc.
Because it is located in the centre for Life, which mainly offers services and events for young people, the whole café is decorated in a childish way, warm and cute. Nevertheless it is fairly quiet place for parents who have brought children here for exhibition and got exhausted after a long tour or event. Some parents are having a pleasant chat at completely ease while children are playing around and enjoying the toy world by themselves. On the wall around the café are cartoon drawings of huge animals like dinosaurs. You just cannot think as a grown-up here with so many dinosaurs watching you.
It’s totally a child’s world. I would like to call it kiddie café.
The food mainly focuses on children’s favour. Walkers Baked crisps in deferent colors and delicious salads with tomatoes, cucumbers, pineapple pieces and union circles above, all of them just sparkle and appeal to kids. Fresh fruit on the menu with a carrot image drawing beside is just £0.40. So it is not hard to imagine the whole price level in this kiddie café, all around 1-2 pounds. Never forget we are kids so eat little, hhaa.
Inside the café red soft sofa like a bread, while outside you can see nice garden flowers with little trees as tall as a 8-year-ole boy. On a weekend, take kids for exhibition and have a nice afternoon tea with kids running around and enjoy the sunshine under a childish cute sun umbrella. What a fantastic world.
